The property of stainless steel is to form a chromium-oxide, passive film, which can be destroyed through mechanical and thermal processes (milling, turning, grinding, cutting, welding, etc.). Pickling permits to remove these damages and to restore the corrosion resistant performance. As a result, professionally pickled stainless steel surfaces and welding seams guarantee full corrosion resistance and present a decorative, metallic surface.
ACE’s state of the art pickling line allows to effect pickling works on the own products but also by order of other companies.
The pickling line has the dimensions 16,0 x 8,0 x 7,0 m and is equipped with an 8-to-crane.
